These Terms govern the sale of soy and scented candles by NORTHWELL GROUP LTD, trading as Naldony, via www.naldony.com (the "Store"). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

§ 1. About us

§ 2. Definitions

  • Customer: a natural person (consumer) acting outside their trade, business, craft or profession, who places an order with us through the Store.
  • Store: the e-commerce site at www.naldony.com operated on the Shopify platform.
  • Goods: the soy and scented candles displayed on the Store.
  • Order: an offer by the Customer to buy specified Goods at the stated price.
  • Contract: the sales contract concluded between the Customer and Naldony when we accept the Order.

§ 3. Account and ordering

  1. The Customer may order with or without creating an account. Account creation is free.
  2. Products in the cart constitute a non-binding selection until the Customer completes checkout.
  3. By clicking "Pay now" the Customer makes a binding offer to buy.
  4. We accept the Order by sending an order-confirmation email. The Contract is concluded at the moment that confirmation email is sent.

§ 4. Prices

  1. All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where applicable.
  2. UK shipping is free — there are no additional delivery, handling or customs charges.
  3. Prices are valid at the moment of order. Subsequent price changes do not affect already-placed orders.

§ 5. Payment

  1. The Store uses Shopify Payments (processed by Stripe Payments UK Ltd) for card payments.
  2. Accepted methods:
    • Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Maestro, UnionPay
    • Digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
    • Buy-now-pay-later: Klarna
  3. Payment is captured at the moment of order. All transmissions are encrypted (TLS 1.2+), and card payments use 3-D Secure authentication.
  4. Statement descriptor on your card or bank statement: Naldony.

§ 6. Delivery

  1. We ship to United Kingdom (mainland and inhabited islands served by our carriers) only. We do not ship internationally.
  2. Lead time: 5–7 business days total (1–2 days handling + 4–5 days transit).
  3. Order cut-off for same-day handling: 16:00 UK time (Mon–Fri).
  4. Carriers: Royal Mail, DPD, Evri, UPS.
  5. The carrier selected for your order is shown on the dispatch confirmation along with the tracking number.
  6. Risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer on physical delivery. For lost or damaged parcels, see § 8 below.

§ 7. Right to cancel (statutory + voluntary)

  1. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the Customer has 14 calendar days from the day after receipt of the Goods to cancel the Contract without giving any reason.
  2. As a voluntary extension, Naldony grants the Customer a total of 30 calendar days from receipt to cancel and return Goods.
  3. The Goods must be returned new, unused and in their original packaging.
  4. Cancellation procedure and refund timing are set out in the Returns & Refunds Policy.

§ 8. Faulty, damaged or wrong Goods

  1. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
  2. If Goods arrive damaged, defective or differ from what was ordered, contact us within 30 days of receipt at support@naldony.com with the order number and photographs.
  3. We will arrange a free return (we pay return postage) and either send a replacement or refund the full amount, at the Customer's choice.
  4. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by anything in these Terms.

§ 9. Candle safety and intended use

The Goods are decorative scented candles intended for indoor use only. The Customer agrees to follow the safety guidance printed on each candle:

  • Trim the wick to 5 mm before each lighting
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets
  • Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from draughts and flammable materials
  • Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time

The candles make no therapeutic, medical, aromatherapy or wellness claims. They are sold as a decorative and fragrance product only.

§ 10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law. Subject to that, our total liability for any Contract is limited to the price paid by the Customer for the Goods under that Contract.

§ 11. Dispute resolution

  1. We aim to resolve any complaint quickly. Please contact us first at support@naldony.com — we respond within 1 business day.
  2. If the matter cannot be resolved directly, the Customer may use any of the following:
  3. Use of ADR is voluntary and requires both parties' consent.
  4. The Customer also retains the right to bring legal proceedings.

§ 12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to the Customer's statutory rights to bring proceedings in the country of their habitual residence.

§ 13. Additional provisions

  1. Product variance (hand-poured items). Naldony candles are hand-poured in small batches. Minor batch-to-batch variations in wax colour, fragrance throw, surface finish (slight wet-spots, frosting, or air pockets on the wax surface), and jar tint are characteristics of small-batch production, not defects, and do not entitle the Customer to a return on grounds of non-conformity. Defects that affect safe use (cracked jar, broken wick, contaminated wax) are covered under § 8 and the Returns & Refunds Policy.

  2. Permitted and prohibited use. The Goods are decorative scented candles for indoor domestic use only. The Customer agrees to follow the safety guidance in § 9 above. The Goods are not intended for: (a) any therapeutic, medical, aromatherapy, or wellness purpose; (b) outdoor use; (c) use in commercial settings without independent fire-safety risk assessment; (d) modification, adulteration, or resale as a different product. Naldony makes no representations as to suitability for any use beyond those expressly described on the product page.

  3. Indemnification. To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, the Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Naldony, NORTHWELL GROUP LTD, its directors, employees and suppliers from and against any claims, losses, damages, fire damage to property, or personal injury arising from: (a) the Customer's failure to follow the safety guidance in § 9; (b) use of the Goods contrary to § 13(2) above; (c) the Customer's breach of these Terms. This indemnification does not limit the Customer's statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other non-excludable statutory protections.

  4. Limitation of liability (cross-reference). See § 10 above for the general limitation of Naldony's liability under these Terms.

  5. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held by a competent court to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable, or — if such modification is not possible — severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

  6. Entire agreement. These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Legal Notice published on the Store) constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and Naldony in relation to the sale of Goods. They supersede any prior agreement, understanding or representation, written or oral, between the parties on that subject matter.

§ 14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on the Store at the moment of the Customer's Order. Material changes will be notified via the Store homepage and (for registered customers) by email.
