Step 3: Add a Small Amount of Oil — Add your oil or butter and let it heat for 5 to 10 seconds. You can typically turn your stovetop dial down 1 or 2 notches lower than you used with your old pan, as titanium holds heat far better.
Step 4: Add Food, Then Let It Sear — Place your food in the pan and do not touch it immediately. Titanium releases food naturally once it develops a proper sear. If it feels stuck, wait 30 more seconds—it will release on its own.
